FALL IS HERE! That crisp cool air, those changing leaves, and that pumpkin spice everywhere! It also means it's time to start thinking about Halloween and creating a list of things to do
this holiday season. What are we going to be? Are we attending a party or taking kids trick-or-treating? Will your decor be spooky or festive? But one of the things that should be at
the top of that list (and is often times skipped) is a fun themed photoshoot with your family and friends. It's a unique and creative way to get in that Halloween spirit.
Our smoke balls and smoke bombs make the perfect accessory to add that atmosphere for any photoshoot vibe you are going for. Our smoking jack-o'-lanterns are one of many creative ways to
use our smoke balls and smoke bombs this season and if you have ever carved a pumpkin this is an easy one. Below we have put together ideas to help plan that pumpkin smoke photoshoot you
have always dreamed of.
Everything you need for 1 smoking pumpkin:
- 1 Smoke Ball (increase the number of Smoke Balls with the size of the pumpkin)

- 1 pumpkin
- 1 serrated knife or pumpkin carving kit
- 1 ice cream scoop or spoon
- 1 pencil
- stencil or paper to draw out your design
- OPTIONAL scissors
First, you will need to decide whether you would like to carve an opening on the top or the bottom. If you are placing your pumpkin on a flat surface, carving from the bottom makes
it easy to pull the grenade, put it down, and carefully place the pumpkin over the top of the smoke bomb. You may need to also carve a small hole at the top of the pumpkin for additional
ventilation. If you are wanting to hold, move, or the pumpkin isn't on a flat surface we recommend carving the hole at the top. Make sure you keep the top as a lid so the smoke doesn't
blow directly into you face. Once you have decided which direction and cut the hole using the serrated knife, it is now time to scrap those pumpkin guts out. Make sure you get out as much
as possible, so there is no fire hazards.
Now it is time to get creative! Grab your stencil or paper, pencil, and scissors (optional). Figure out what you will be carving into your pumpkin. Choose something happy, sad,
mad, scary, or something unique. Once you have drawn out your design, either freehand it using the pencil onto the the pumpkin or cut out your design/stencil and put it onto your pumpkin.
Then start carving using your serrated knife and you are done. Put that smoke ball in and light it up!

We have a few options of smokes that we offer. As mentioned above, our smoke balls are a great way to add some colored smoke to your pumpkin. They come in a variety of different
colors and last about 15 seconds. When it comes to our smoke bombs, our RP90 smoke bombs which have the most smoke and last up to 90 seconds, are a perfect fit if you are wanting to use
the pumpkin in a photoshoot! Our Dual Vents admit the same amount of smoke, just much quicker because it has two vents and lasts up to 30 seconds. Last but not least, our mini's
which only last approximately 30 seconds and has much less smoke then our bigger products.
Now, with shipping our smoke balls they are required to go ground by law and can not be expedited. As for all of our smoke bomb products they are considered to be fireworks and are
legally required to ship from a licensed hazmat facility. As a result, shipping does take a little bit longer (ship ground only) and costs more then most other items of similiar size.
That being said, we do have a shipping tier we go by. On orders $50 or less shipping costs are $36. On orders between $50-$100 shipping is $18. Anything above $100 shipping is free!
Orders placed before 1pm MST are shipped the same day and anything past 1pm MST will ship out the next business day. Once your order is processed and shipped it should arrive anywhere
between 4-7 business days, depending on where you live. We do not guarantee anything until the 7th business days.

Here are some tips to help ensure a safe and fun activity:
- Safety first! Make sure when you pull the ring to put
the smoke bomb down where it needs to go.
- Keep away from flammable material and always be cautious
of dry vegetation outside. These can spark and we do not want
these to start a fire or cause harm to the person holding it.
Be smart!
- Plan! Figure out what you are doing beforehand, so you
know exactly what you are doing before the actual event and you
are not scrambling. We want this to be fun and not stressful!
- Prepare! Make sure everything has a place and is ready
before you light the wick or pull the ring on your smokes.
